This is one of the big work habits! And it relies upon use of all the executive functions. Uses time wisely…interesting idea. Wisely by whose definition? I’m sure may of these kids think they are using their time wisely when they are talking to their friends (I mean, it’s the only time they see them, right?) but the teacher’s definition is much different. This is a skill that needs lots and lots of practice. It’s hard for me to use time wisely all the time and I’m sure you can relate to that. You sit down to do a quick email and you end up wasting an hour browsing pinterest or facebook. Probably not the wisest use of time!
